G'day I'm Gavin, the new owner (since August 2024) of the friendly caravan park in Longreach, Outback Queensland. I might be new to this, but I’m no stranger to the warm, welcoming spirit of the outback. In fact I lived in Longreach 50 years ago. “Friendliness and cleanliness” is my motto. I have bought the caravan park with the goal to make it sparkle, and turn it into a place where you feel right at home.
At the park, it is all about the simple pleasures, -being greeted and shown to your site and cabin and the kind of friendly atmosphere that feels more like visiting family than just checking into a caravan or cabin park. I am all about creating a space where everyone’s welcome, including your four legged friends.
So come on in, make yourself at home . I can’t wait to meet you.

One of the things that makes our park special is our Happy Hour. It’s a chance to relax, meet other travelers, swap stories from the road and make new friends.
New owner, Gavin, has made this a very clean and tidy place to stay. Amenities are very clean. The byo 4 pm happy hour that he organises is a lot of fun and a good way to meet fellow travellers. Only a 15 minute walk into town. Definitely worth a visit.
Great little park, and Gav is a fabulous host.
